In 2021, we launched the first list reflecting the growth of companies in the Chinese cross-border e-commerce logistics sector and the industry landscape—the Oracle Ranking. In its inaugural industry-wide solicitation, 61 companies passed the initial screening, achieving a total annual revenue of 65.51 billion yuan in the cross-border e-commerce logistics business.
In 2022, the Oracle Ranking saw the total annual revenue of the initially screened companies in the cross-border e-commerce logistics business surpass 90 billion yuan. The average annual revenue growth rate of a single enterprise reached 40.19%, and the year-over-year growth rate of the median annual revenue was as high as 54.9%.
In 2023, the initially screened companies on the Oracle Ranking achieved a total annual revenue of over 100 billion yuan in the cross-border e-commerce logistics business. The average annual revenue growth rate for a single enterprise was 32%.

In 2023, China finds itself at the forefront of a new wave of globalization, and going global has transitioned from being an optional question in the past to a mandatory one this year. Cross-border e-commerce is thriving, and cross-border logistics is defying the odds, reaching new global heights. The industry is ushering in the era of the "Great Voyage," marking the beginning of a major breakthrough in China's cross-border supply chain!
Looking back at the 2023 Oracle Ranking, the overall revenue of cross-border logistics companies maintained growth, with a strong concentration at the top. The total revenue of the top ten enterprises in 2023 was 45.641 billion yuan, showing a growth rate adjusted relative to the high base of 2022. However, compared to the comprehensive top ten list of 2021, there was still an overall growth of 11.32%. Some individual companies achieved a staggering year-on-year growth rate exceeding 300%.

In the 2023 Oracle Ranking, approximately 70% of the companies featured exhibit a diversified business layout. Analyzing the business distribution of the top ten enterprises, there is a higher concentration in formats such as small parcel express lines and overseas warehouses. Particularly in the small parcel express line sector, the revenue share is close to 60%, which is 13.63 percentage points higher than that of the initially screened cross-border logistics enterprises. Simultaneously, the layout of the top ten enterprises in overseas warehouses is also ahead of both rising-star enterprises and initially screened cross-border logistics enterprises.
Within the segmented business formats of rising-star cross-border logistics enterprises, there is a notably high concentration in the FBA logistics format, leading the top ten enterprises and initially screened cross-border logistics enterprises by 30 percentage points and 17 percentage points, respectively.
In the first year of Chinese enterprises going global, the cross-border logistics industry is undergoing a significant transformation from the traditional era of foreign trade to the era of comprehensive global expansion, marked by the globalization of e-commerce, platformization of logistics services, and refinement of enterprise operations. With a highly competitive track, diverse enterprises, and a vast market, the Chinese cross-border logistics industry is facing unprecedented changes in the new era of global expansion. In the midst of this new revolution, where will the path of internationalization lead for Chinese cross-border logistics companies? "Oracle Ranking is the first authoritative list in the Chinese cross-border e-commerce logistics sector that reflects the growth of companies and the industry landscape. Through industry-weighted rankings and in-depth insights, it promotes the value of enterprises and has increasingly become a strong endorsement for corporate brands and a benchmark for the evolution of the industry landscape in the cross-border e-commerce logistics field, drawing significant attention from the capital market and a wide range of practitioners.
Eligibility Criteria:
1.Companies with cross-border e-commerce logistics as their main business.
2.Industry upstream and downstream giants and other sector leaders entering the cross-border e-commerce logistics arena through different models or dimensions.
Selection Method:
1.Open Solicitation: From now on, an open call is made to all companies meeting the selection criteria through online registration.
Self-registration: Eligible companies can independently submit their registration information by scanning the QR code or clicking on the link at the end of the text.
2.Targeted Communication: Confirmation and verification will be conducted for companies that have submitted registration information and those invited for participation.
Selection Process:
1.Data Collection: January 8th - February 8th, 2024.
2.Initial Screening: February 9th - February 15th, 2024.
3.Comprehensive Selection: February 16th - February 25th, 2024.
4.List Publication: February 26th - March 27th, 2024.
5.Award Ceremony: March 28th, 2023 (7th China Cross-border E-commerce Logistics Trends Summit).
List-Making Explanation:
1.Research and initial screening will be based on the evaluation materials submitted by participating companies, combined with publicly available industry information.
2.Comprehensive selection will be based on quantifiable indicators such as the annual revenue, cargo volume, team size, etc., provided by participating companies. It will also consider additional indicators such as business models, management, intellectual property/patents, past honors, etc.
