From November 5th to 10th, the 6th China International Import Expo was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). As one of the important supporting events in the transportation and logistics field of the Expo, the "2023 Global Trade and International Logistics Summit Forum" was successfully held on November 8th. During the forum, the organizing committee announced the "Top 30 Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions (China)." Deppon Express's independently developed high-efficiency multi-form package one-stop storage machine was selected as one of the "Top 30 Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions (China) for 2023."
The World Trade Organization predicts that global B2C cross-border e-commerce will maintain a growth rate of 27% by 2026. In the first half of this year, China's cross-border e-commerce export volume reached 821 billion yuan, an increase of 19.9%. The rapid development of cross-border e-commerce has led to a continuous increase in demand for efficient and reliable logistics.
As is well known, the handling process of cross-border logistics parcels is cumbersome. The process of replacing domestic logistics waybills with those recognizable by overseas end delivery providers can easily lead to inefficiencies such as low efficiency in manual weighing and relabeling, lack of standardization, susceptibility to misoperation, and lack of relevant evidence in dispute resolution. Additionally, acquiring bubble-to-weight ratio data for cross-border logistics parcels is difficult, and there is a lack of leverage in customer segmentation and billing strategies, resulting in a lack of reliable data support for enterprise operations and significant operational risks in market competition.
Deppon Express leverages technological innovation to upgrade operational models and has successfully developed a multi-form package one-stop storage machine. This innovation effectively addresses various drawbacks caused by manual operations in cross-border parcel storage and relabeling processes.
It is understood that this one-stop storage machine is specifically designed to address pain points in the field of small parcel logistics warehousing, driven by the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce. It can achieve automatic sorting, identification, weighing, scanning, and other operations for parcels. Its core technologies include precise trajectory tracking, asynchronous parallel processing, visual recognition, efficient operation of mechanical arms, and continuous technological accumulation and product iteration optimization. Currently, the single-machine processing capacity has reached 1600-1800 pieces per hour, far exceeding the efficiency of manual operations. Each label pasting requires 5 verifications, ensuring data consistency before initiating mechanical arm labeling. The weighing accuracy reaches ±2 grams, and the recognition accuracy is as high as 99.99%, significantly reducing the error rate.
It is worth mentioning that this one-stop storage machine can intelligently handle various forms of parcels based on their characteristics. Through 3D measurement, it obtains the Z-axis height of the parcel, and through 2D visual precise identification, it determines the relative position, angle, and coordinates of the original waybill and the parcel. After receiving information such as the parcel's height, the angle of the waybill, and the relative coordinates, it generates a motion trajectory to complete label retrieval and fitting. This achieves intelligent processing of various forms of parcels, greatly improving operational adaptability. Meanwhile, simple human-machine interaction allows the device to be operated by newcomers without the need for specialized training.
Hu Gang, Chief Technology Officer of Di4Fang, stated that the development and application of the integrated storage machine have promoted the intelligent upgrade of warehousing operations, enabling enterprises to better adapt to the rapid development of e-commerce. He hopes to promote replicable and scalable projects or experiences to the industry, jointly creating a digitalized international end-to-end logistics fulfillment service. This aims to expand the international logistics channel for "Made in China" products and support the high-quality development of global digital trade.
