4.Ezhou Hua Lake Airport Surpasses 1,000 International Cargo Flights

7.CMA CGM Announces Peak Season Surcharge from Southern Europe to Northern Europe

On January 3rd, CMA CGM announced the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) starting from January 10, 2024. The surcharge will be applied to goods departing from southern Turkey, especially Mersin and Iskenderun ports, heading to northern Europe, including Ireland, the Scandinavian Peninsula, Baltic countries, and Poland. 8.Maersk Announces Temporary Suspension of Shipping

On January 3rd, Maersk announced a temporary suspension of ship transits through the Mandeb Strait for 48 hours, following a missile attack on one of its container ships in the Red Sea by Houthi forces from Yemen on December 30, 2023. The U.S. Navy and onboard security teams successfully repelled an attempted boarding by Houthi forces on December 31, 2023.
