3.Completion and Operation of Key Logistics Facilities at Shenzhen Airport
On January 5th, it was reported that key logistics facilities, including the International Transfer Station in the East Zone of Shenzhen Airport, Cargo Agency Warehouse No. 1 in the South Cargo Area, and Phase I of the new International Cargo Station in the South Zone, have been officially put into operation. It is expected that these facilities will add an annual international cargo handling capacity of 370,000 tons to the airport.
The International Transfer Station in the East Zone has a building area of approximately 60,000 square meters and will primarily serve as the storage and distribution center for the international logistics giant DHL. Cargo Agency Warehouse No. 1 in the South Cargo Area covers an area of approximately 87,000 square meters and integrates functions such as cargo storage, sorting, and distribution. After its launch, it will significantly improve the operational efficiency of domestic air freight agents. Phase I of the new International Cargo Station in the South Zone has a building area of approximately 19,000 square meters and will mainly be used to support international general cargo business, serving airlines and freight forwarders.

4. 9% Year-on-Year Growth in Air Cargo Demand in 2023
On January 5th, according to the latest weekly market data analysis by Xeneta, 2024 may mark the beginning of a new economic growth cycle for the global air cargo industry, as demand in 2023 increased by 9% year-on-year.
Xeneta's weekly market data shows that in December 2023, the global average spot air cargo freight rate reached a peak of $2.60 per kilogram, a 6% increase from November, thanks to a 9% year-on-year growth rate in demand. However, general air cargo spot rates continued to record a double-digit 18% year-on-year decline, compared to a 25% decline in November.

7.TikTok Shop Raises Sales Commission for US Sellers, Plans to Expand US E-commerce Business Tenfold
