Introduction:SHEIN's semi-fulfillment "Certified Warehouses" service has officially launched in collaboration with five major logistics providers, aiding sellers in efficiently fulfilling overseas orders.

News from August 6: Winit, China Post, 4PX, ExChain, and YunQuNa have become the first batch of logistics providers to collaborate with SHEIN's semi-fulfillment model as "certified warehouses." These warehouses cover over 1.2 million square meters of overseas storage resources across popular cross-border e-commerce markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Sellers aiming to expand their businesses overseas through SHEIN's semi-fulfillment model can now enjoy professional, high-quality, one-stop cross-border e-commerce warehousing and logistics solutions.

SHEIN has partnered with several leading domestic logistics providers to launch the "certified warehouses." These warehouses offer a range of services, including domestic collection, overseas warehousing, inventory management, last-mile delivery, and after-sales support. Within these warehouses, different categories and product sizes are typically managed in separate zones. Sellers using SHEIN's semi-fulfillment model can seamlessly connect to certified warehouses through the "Seller Center" on the platform. The platform recognizes shipments from certified warehouses, and sellers can benefit from digital synchronization features, such as automatic order pushing, outbound operations, and tracking synchronization, enabling them to manage their store orders clearly and efficiently.

Additionally, SHEIN's "certified warehouses" offer clear operational quotes, solving the accounting difficulties for newcomers. They are continuously integrating other value-added services, such as premium packaging and convenient returns, allowing sellers to choose based on their needs. This flexibility helps sellers to efficiently handle complex situations and unexpected demands in overseas sales, thereby enhancing their fulfillment capabilities and building a positive reputation among consumers.

In the global retail market, SHEIN's performance has been booming, especially in the fashion retail sector, where it stands shoulder to shoulder with giants like Amazon and Walmart. It has become one of the top three online fashion retailers in the United States. Starting with its own clothing brand, SHEIN has now expanded to a full range of categories and is moving towards a comprehensive platform model, gradually introducing various cooperation models like "Managed Operations Enablement," "Self-Managed Operations," and "Semi-Fulfillment" to cater to different types of cross-border sellers.

Data released by the Ministry of Commerce in June this year shows that over the past five years, the scale of cross-border e-commerce trade in China has grown more than tenfold. Chinese companies have built over 2,500 overseas warehouses, of which more than 1,800 are dedicated to serving cross-border e-commerce, covering an area of over 22 million square meters. Industry insiders believe that cross-border logistics emerged relatively late and involves many complex links, making it highly challenging for individual sellers to master the entire logistics chain. Therefore, convenient and efficient professional overseas warehouses are increasingly becoming strategic resources for the efficient operation of cross-border enterprises and the expansion into new overseas markets. They are essential for many small and medium-sized sellers looking to capitalize on the wave of cross-border e-commerce, and their contribution to cross-border e-commerce will continue to grow.

For example, in the US market, where SHEIN's semi-fulfillment model is already operational, sellers typically had to transport their goods to US warehouses themselves, manage localized inventory, handle local shipping, ensure the quality of final delivery, and deal with after-sales returns and exchanges. Now, with the help of SHEIN's "certified warehouses," sellers can professionally handle these issues, reduce additional logistics costs from transshipment, and avoid inventory backlogs from large volumes of similar goods being shipped abroad, thereby retaining more profit.

After the launch of the "certified warehouse" feature, sellers using SHEIN's semi-fulfillment model can choose more flexible overseas warehousing and fulfillment strategies based on their preferences and needs. They can either continue to utilize their own overseas resources for product and logistics management or use SHEIN's certified warehouse services. The advantages of choosing "certified warehouses" are clear: sellers can manage orders and shipping processes in one place through SHEIN's seller backend, ensuring consistent brand building and customer experience. This also helps to alleviate the platform's operational pressure in logistics and warehousing, achieving efficient resource allocation and risk management. Sellers can accelerate the introduction of new products to overseas markets, which is crucial for improving customer satisfaction and repeat purchase rates, and for seizing market opportunities.

Furthermore, recent industry news indicates that SHEIN's semi-fulfillment is planning to heavily support over 30 "high-priority" categories for overseas expansion. These categories will enjoy additional benefits such as SHEIN's internal traffic support, exclusive in-platform event resources, dedicated off-platform traffic placement resources, and a 24-hour fast pricing green channel. Key category products may receive exclusive price subsidies from SHEIN, making it more advantageous for cross-border sellers to compete in this significant "brand-to-brand" opportunity with SHEIN's dedicated support.
