On October 11, data from Sensor Tower revealed that as of August 2024, Temu's user base had reached 91% of Amazon’s. It is expected to surpass Amazon by the end of the year. Out of 84 countries and regions, users in 53 prefer Temu over Amazon. The preference for Temu is especially strong in Europe, where users in 28 out of 30 countries favor Temu. However, in the U.S. market, Amazon still holds a significant lead with around 40% market share, while Temu is expected to grow to 2.3% by next year.

3.J&T Express Daily Parcel Volume Reaches 67.8 Million in Q3
On October 11, J&T Express released its Q3 2024 operating report, revealing a total parcel volume of 6.239 billion for the quarter, up 18.5% year-on-year, with an average daily volume of 67.8 million. For the first three quarters of 2024, total parcel volume reached 17.254 billion, a year-on-year increase of 30.4%.
Regionally, J&T delivered 3.16 billion parcels in Southeast Asia, growing 33%, while in China, it handled 13.887 billion parcels, an increase of 29.8%.

4.Ezhou Huahu Launches First Nordic All-Cargo Route
On October 11, Maersk Air Cargo inaugurated a new "Ezhou ⇌ Billund" international cargo route operated by China Post Supply Chain Company. This route, operated by a Boeing B777-200F freighter with a capacity of 100 tons, runs twice a week and provides Huahu Airport with 400 tons of weekly air cargo capacity. The outbound goods mainly consist of mail products, while inbound goods are primarily fresh products.
This route is Huahu Airport’s first direct all-cargo flight to Northern Europe, expanding its global cargo network.
