1.Jaiyuda Global Logistics Expands U.S. Operations
On October 25, it was announced that Shenzhen-based cross-border logistics solutions provider Jaiyuda Global Logistics Co., Ltd. has acquired shares in two key logistics facilities in California, U.S., and a licensed customs brokerage firm in Georgia. These strategic investments are part of Jaiyuda's ongoing efforts to expand its U.S. operations and strengthen its comprehensive logistics services.
Specifically, Jaiyuda acquired a 20% stake in a 70,000-square-foot warehouse in Rialto, California, and a 49% stake in a 50,000-square-foot warehouse in Chino, California. In addition, Jaiyuda acquired a 10% stake in LD Global Logistics Ltd., a customs brokerage company established in 2016 and certified by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Headquartered in Georgia, LD Global Logistics provides nationwide customs clearance services and operates a fleet of trucks, further supporting Jaiyuda's logistics expansion in the southeastern U.S.

2.DHL Expands Air Cargo Hub
On October 25, DHL Express announced the construction of a 305,000-square-foot aircraft maintenance facility and an expanded tarmac at its Cincinnati hub. The $292 million investment at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport will reduce aircraft downtime and improve reliability, while the expanded tarmac will add eight new gates, increasing cargo handling capacity. The expanded facilities are expected to be fully operational by January 2026.
DHL's Cincinnati hub currently spans 194 acres, with 67 aircraft parking gates and 6.4 million square feet of ramp space. It handles 117 daily flights and operates a fleet of 64 aircraft, making it one of DHL’s three global super hubs, alongside those in Hong Kong and Germany.

3.Temu Launches Affiliate Marketing Program in Vietnam
On October 25, Temu announced the official launch of its affiliate marketing program in Vietnam, offering higher discounts and a more attractive commission structure than Lazada and Shopee. New users who register through referral links will earn 150,000 VND for the referrer, and if the referred user signs up additional members, the referrer will receive an additional 20% commission. Product commission rates range from 10% to 30%, higher than those of Shopee and TikTok Shop, attracting many Vietnamese netizens to promote the platform.

4.A Cross-border E-commerce Company Passes Hong Kong Stock Exchange Hearing
On October 25, it was announced that Aoji Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Aoji Technology") had passed the hearing of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and disclosed its post-hearing information. The company is now preparing for its listing on the main board, with Huatai International serving as the sole sponsor.
Aoji Technology had previously traded on the New Third Board but delisted on April 16, 2019. After an unsuccessful attempt to list on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, the company chose the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for its listing. The funds raised from this IPO will be mainly used for business expansion, digital enhancement, potential investment or acquisition opportunities in the industry chain, and general corporate purposes.

5.Amazon Expands Same-Day Delivery Service
On October 25, Amazon announced that its same-day delivery service has officially launched in 15 cities in Spain and 4 cities in France. Now, millions of Amazon Prime customers in Spain can enjoy same-day delivery on qualifying orders of €29 or more at no additional cost, with delivery from click to doorstep in just a few hours. As of 2024, Amazon's same-day delivery orders in Spain have increased by one-third compared to the previous year. In France, the service has expanded to Lyon, Marseille, Rouen, and Strasbourg, bringing the total number of cities covered to 10.

6. Amazon to Open New Distribution Center in the U.S.
On October 25, it was announced that Amazon's new distribution center in Johnston, U.S., is expected to begin operations during the 2024 holiday season. 7.Lazada Malaysia Adjusts Return and Refund Policy
On October 25, Lazada Malaysia announced an adjustment to its return and refund policy, allowing buyers to instantly cancel orders even after the package has been picked up. The policy will take effect on November 18, 2024. Instant cancellation applies only to local orders, LEX express deliveries, and non-COD (cash on delivery) orders. Health products, groceries, and orders valued at or above RM 475 cannot be instantly canceled.

11.Maersk to Increase Asia-to-Saudi PSS
On October 25, Maersk announced that it will increase Peak Season Surcharges (PSS) from November 1 for shipments from various Asian ports to Saudi Arabia.
