Maple Supply Chain Management Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Maple Supply Chain") recently announced the completion of its Pre-A round of financing, raising tens of millions of RMB. This round was led by Celtic House Asia Partners, with strategic investors such as JiaYou International also participating.
Deeply Rooted in the Canadian Market, Offering End-to-End Cross-Border Logistics Solutions
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Maple Supply Chain specializes in providing one-stop overseas warehousing, cross-border logistics, and supply chain management services for cross-border e-commerce companies, brands, and manufacturers. The company is dedicated to offering professional, efficient, reliable, and intelligent logistics solutions to help Chinese and global cross-border businesses efficiently enter the North American market.
Since its establishment, Maple Supply Chain has provided customized forward 3PL fulfillment and reverse logistics solutions for global top brands' independent sites in categories such as drones, smartphones, furniture, home appliances, home robots, and 3D printers, as well as for China's leading cross-border e-commerce platforms ("Four Little Dragons"). The company also offers B2B warehousing and distribution services in Canada for Chinese overseas enterprises, including leading Chinese brands in electric vehicles, photovoltaic products, televisions, and kitchen electronics. Additionally, Maple Supply Chain has established deep partnerships with China's largest courier companies, airlines, shipping companies, and freight forwarders. With a professional team, efficient warehouse management system, data-driven logistics optimization, and localized delivery services, the company provides end-to-end supply chain management, offering services such as customs clearance, warehousing, order fulfillment, distribution, return inspections, and reverse logistics. This optimizes fulfillment efficiency, reduces operational costs, and enhances both buyer satisfaction and seller competitiveness.
Currently, Maple Supply Chain operates specialized warehouses in both eastern and western Canada, with a total operational storage space exceeding 400,000 square feet. The company plans to add multiple digitalized warehouses within the next two years, fully covering Canada’s major consumer markets. This will significantly improve order fulfillment efficiency, bringing products closer to customers to meet growing market demands.
Financing to Deepen Presence in the Canadian Market and Prepare for Expansion into the U.S.
The funds from this round of financing will primarily be used in the following areas:
Strengthening Warehousing and Logistics Networks in Canada: Maple Supply Chain plans to establish additional warehousing and distribution centers in major Canadian cities, optimizing its delivery network and improving fulfillment efficiency. This will provide more flexible and efficient logistics solutions for local e-commerce and cross-border sellers.
Upgrading Intelligent Supply Chain Management Systems: The company plans to optimize its warehousing automation system, leveraging data-driven order management, intelligent inventory management, and other technologies to improve logistics operations and help merchants reduce costs and increase efficiency.
Preparing to Enter the U.S. Market: In the next two years, Maple Supply Chain plans to enter the U.S. market, initially building a warehousing network at key logistics hubs on both the East and West Coasts. The company will partner with local logistics providers to create a seamless cross-border fulfillment layout, helping clients expand into the North American market.
Peter Wang, founder and CEO of Maple Supply Chain, stated: "Canada is a vital gateway for global cross-border e-commerce to enter the North American market. Through intelligent supply chain solutions, we aim to provide customers with efficient and convenient cross-border logistics services. This round of financing will not only help us solidify our business foundation in the Canadian market but also prepare us for our future entry into the U.S. market. We will continue to optimize our operational efficiency and provide even stronger supply chain support for global cross-border sellers."
Celtic House Asia, the lead investor in this round, is a well-known investment firm focused on the North American market. The firm has led investments in notable projects in the logistics and supply chain sectors, including last-mile delivery company UniUni, food cold-chain company GrubMarket, and Fantuan Delivery. Chen Jie, Managing Partner at Celtic House Asia, said: "Maple Supply Chain’s deep cultivation in the Canadian market has earned it a strong operational reputation in the industry. We believe that with the support of new capital, the company will achieve greater breakthroughs in the North American market and bring more value to global cross-border trade."
Building an Integrated North American Cross-Border Warehousing and Distribution System
With the rapid growth of the global e-commerce market, especially the rise of semi-managed models, cross-border logistics demand in North America has surged dramatically. Maple Supply Chain plans to establish an integrated supply chain system covering both Canada and the U.S., helping global brands and e-commerce platforms quickly expand in the North American market. The company holds IATA air freight qualifications, ocean freight forwarding qualifications, CBSA customs-bonded warehouse qualifications, and lithium battery transportation qualifications, allowing it to provide logistics services for all types of cargo, from bulk goods to high-value items.
Looking ahead, Maple Supply Chain will continue to uphold its "customer-first, innovation-driven" philosophy, constantly optimizing supply chain technology, expanding its presence in the North American market, and offering even more efficient fulfillment capabilities for global sellers.
