3. Flight Volume of Two Beijing Airports Recovered to 57% of Pre-Pandemic Levels in September
On November 3rd, from October 29, 2023, to March 30, 2024, the Civil Aviation Administration of China began implementing the 2023/24 winter-spring flight schedule. Flights at Beijing's dual-hub airports continued to resume.
Capital Airport Group plans to operate approximately 40,000 passenger and cargo flights per week, an increase of 18.7% from the 2019 winter-spring season. Domestic (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) flights are planned at 37,034 per week, with cargo flights at 746 per week, a 36.38% increase from the 2019/20 winter-spring season. Flights to Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan are planned at 556 per week, and international flights at 2,448 per week.
Beijing Daxing Airport plans to operate approximately 966 flights per day, including around 65 international and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan flights. After the seasonal change, 21 airlines plan to operate 29 international and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan routes from Daxing Airport. Since the beginning of the year, flight operations at Beijing's dual-hub airports have continued to recover, with the international and regional flight volume for September at both airports reaching 57% of the same period in 2019. With the gradual restoration of passenger flights, belly cargo capacity will also be further released.

4. Shanxi Opens Its First International Cargo Route
On November 3rd, a Boeing 777F freighter, carrying 43.8 tons of cargo, successfully took off from Taiyuan Wusu International Airport, marking the official opening of the regular international cargo route from Mexico City to Taiyuan, Pudong, and Chicago. This is the first regular international cargo route opened by Shanxi Province.
Operated by China Southern Airlines, the route will operate once a week, with inbound flights from Mexico City to Taiyuan primarily carrying fruits, fresh produce, and components, while outbound flights from Taiyuan to Pudong and then to Chicago will carry e-commerce items, mobile phone components, and electronic cigarettes.

8. Russian Post Begins Free Delivery of Ozon Orders
