On November 27th, it was reported that the U.S. e-commerce research firm Adobe Analytics released data stating that this year's online spending for "Black Friday" in the United States is expected to increase by 7.5% year-on-year, reaching $9.8 billion, approximately ¥695 billion, setting a new record. Meanwhile, online shopping spending for "Cyber Monday" is projected to reach $12 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 6.1%.

3. Shopee Philippines launches buyer self-pickup parcel option.


On November 27th, Shopee Philippines announced the launch of a self-pickup option, allowing buyers to collect parcels from designated pickup points within 7 days of receiving the notification. This feature is automatically available to all sellers. Currently, this feature applies only to orders valued at less than Php 2,000, weighing less than 5 kilograms, and with dimensions not exceeding 30 centimeters. Buyers must collect parcels within 7 days, otherwise, the parcels will be returned to the seller. Parcel collection times are based on the operating hours of the selected pickup point. Additionally, buyers cannot return problematic parcels directly to the pickup point; they must first go through the return/refund process.

4. Russia's ePacket inbound parcel weight limit increased to 5kg.
