2. **UPS to Build a New Logistics Hub in Hong Kong**


On December 6th, UPS announced an agreement with the Hong Kong Airport Authority to build a new hub near the Hong Kong International Airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to improve UPS's services to customers and strengthen the company's operations in Asia. On December 6th, JD.com announced plans to acquire another logistics center in the Netherlands through its subsidiary JD Property Development at a cost of approximately 54 million euros. 9. **IATA: Global Air Cargo Volume Rises Amid Stable Trade Conditions**

Measured by available cargo tonne-kilometers (ACTKs), air cargo capacity grew by 13.1% year-on-year in October, driven by the sustained strong return of international passenger belly capacity. This exceeded the levels seen in 2019, with growth of 2.8%.


Global trade stabilized in September, with inflation easing in most major economies. Airlines from various regions all achieved year-on-year growth in international air cargo tonne-kilometers (CTKs) in October, with airlines in the Middle East showing the most significant increase at 10.8%.
