1. JD Airlines Signs Lease Agreement for Four 737-800 Converted Freighter Aircraft
On June 14, it was announced that AerCap Holdings, listed on the NYSE, has signed a lease agreement with JD Airlines, the cargo airline under JD Logistics, for four Boeing 737-800 Converted Freighter (BCF) aircraft. 2. Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands Announced
On June 14, Kantar Group released its latest 2024 Kantar BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands list. Apple achieved a historic milestone, becoming the first brand worldwide with a brand value exceeding $1 trillion. For the third consecutive year, Apple, along with Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, leads the top 100. The total brand value of the brands on this year's list rebounded by 20%, reaching $8.3 trillion, close to the 2022 peak of $8.7 trillion.
Eleven Chinese brands made the list: Tencent, Moutai, Alibaba, Douyin/TikTok, Haier, China Mobile, ICBC, Huawei, Ping An, Pinduoduo, and Nongfu Spring.
In the logistics sector, only UPS, FedEx, and DHL were included.

3. Amazon Adds Three New Exemptions to Low-Stock Inventory Fee Policy
On June 14, Amazon announced three additional changes to the low-stock inventory fee policy, applicable to the U.S., Germany, France, Italy, and Spain sites:
Unsellable Inventory Fee Exemption: Starting May 15:U.S. Site: Items with fewer than 20 units sold in the last 7 days will be exempt from the low-stock inventory fee.
European Sites:In Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, FNSKU items sold through Amazon’s European Fulfillment Network with fewer than 20 units sold in the past 7 days will be exempt from the low-stock inventory fee.
Reimbursement for Delays Caused by Amazon: Low-stock inventory fees incurred due to prolonged storage and processing times caused by Amazon or Amazon-managed services will be refunded by the 15th of the following month.
Prime Day Promotion: For Prime Day 2024, Amazon will offer a temporary reduction of low-stock inventory fees for Prime Exclusive Lightning Deals and Prime Exclusive Best Deals items, applicable for four weeks from Prime Day.

4. Cargojet Offers Regular Charter Services Between China and Canada
On June 14, Cargojet announced a three-year contract with Hong Kong-based logistics company Great Vision HK Express to provide regular charter services between China and Canada, supporting the growing e-commerce demand from China.
Under the contract, Cargojet will use Boeing 767-300 Converted Freighters to operate flights from Hangzhou to Vancouver, British Columbia, with at least three flights per week. The service began on May 22 and has completed eight flights so far. Some parcels will be delivered to customers in the Vancouver area, while the rest will be distributed across Canada through daily cargo flights to 15 other cities. Cargojet expects this plan to generate over CAD 160 million (approximately USD 117 million) in total revenue over the contract period and to further expand its 767 freighter network.

6. Market Survey Shows: Temu Surpasses eBay in the U.S. Market
On June 14, it was reported that within less than two years of entering the U.S. market, Chinese e-commerce newcomer Temu has attracted more repeat customers than the nearly 30-year-old e-commerce pioneer eBay Inc. 13. China Henan Airlines Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Malaysia Airports
On June 14, China Henan Airlines, a Chinese airport operator, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) to enhance connectivity in air freight. China Henan Airlines currently manages Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO), one of China's major air cargo hubs, and has global freight terminal projects at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD) and Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ).
The initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and coverage for both airport groups, including establishing new air cargo routes between Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) and other regions, connecting Europe with Malaysia, and reinforcing KUL's position as a regional logistics hub. Direct cargo flights from CGO to KUL will expand with Raya Airways operating three weekly freight flights starting in August 2024.
