6. TikTok Shop Limits Orders for Non-Compliant Sellers to 10%
On July 17, TikTok Shop Southeast Asia implemented an Over Volume Limit (OVL) rule for cross-border stores. The OVL refers to a cap on the daily order volume a seller can receive. If a store's delayed fulfillment rate or merchant cancellation rate exceeds the platform's set thresholds, TikTok Shop will activate the OVL, limiting the store's ability to receive new orders until its operational performance returns to normal.
For stores with a high delayed fulfillment rate, the OVL penalty will be based on the highest average daily order volume over the past four weeks and will last for seven days, until the store's delayed fulfillment rate drops below 4% and the merchant cancellation rate drops below 2.5%. The OVL penalty is tiered, with higher delayed fulfillment rates resulting in more severe order limitations, with the highest level restricting the store to only 10% of its average daily order volume over the past four weeks.
