4. 127 New International Cargo Routes Open Nationwide
As of the end of September, more than 120 new international cargo routes have opened this year, further expanding the international air cargo network. According to the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing's aviation logistics division, by September 30, 127 new international cargo routes were opened, adding over 370 round-trip flights weekly. In September alone, 20 new routes were established, with over 60 new round-trip flights added weekly. Among the newly opened routes, there are 65 in Asia, 39 in Europe, and 18 in North America, involving 62 airlines, including 17 domestic and 45 foreign carriers. On October 22, a postal air cargo plane carrying 9.7 tons of goods successfully took off from Fuzhou Changle International Airport bound for Osaka, Japan. 7. New North American Route Opened at Ezhou Huahu
On October 22, an Atlas Air B767F cargo plane successfully took off from Ezhou Huahu International Airport, marking the inaugural flight of the “Ezhou-Anchorage-Seattle” dedicated cargo route. 10.World's Largest Unmanned Cargo Plane W5000 Rolls Off Assembly Line
On October 22, the world's largest unmanned cargo plane, the W5000, successfully rolled off the assembly line at the Changzhou production base of the White Whale Airlines. This aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight of 10.8 tons, a payload capacity of 5 tons, and a range of 2600 kilometers.
