As an important supporting event in the transportation and logistics sector of the CIIE, 4PX was invited to participate, joining industry elites from both domestic and international logistics sectors to explore new opportunities in international logistics within the context of evolving global trade scenarios. The event aimed to offer insights and strategies for the integrated development and innovation of supply chains and industry collaboration.
The theme of this year’s forum, "New Routes, New Scenarios, New Ecosystems," centered on the opportunities brought by global development. It sought to contribute to the high-quality development of China's modern logistics sector. At the forum, 4PX Vice President Dai Bin shared in-depth insights on the challenges and pain points faced by Chinese enterprises expanding overseas. He highlighted three key areas:
Firstly, understanding overseas laws and regulations is the primary challenge Chinese companies must address when expanding internationally. Due to the diverse legal frameworks across different countries, businesses entering foreign markets must thoroughly understand local legal environments, including trade policies, tax regulations, labor laws, and more. Ensuring compliance is crucial to avoid risks and losses arising from a lack of awareness about local regulations.
Secondly, building last-mile services overseas is a major issue for Chinese companies going global. In international logistics, the quality and efficiency of last-mile services directly impact customer satisfaction and a company's market competitiveness. Therefore, establishing an efficient and reliable overseas last-mile service network is essential for enhancing the global competitiveness of Chinese enterprises.
Finally, talent development for cross-border e-commerce is a key foundation for supporting Chinese companies expanding abroad. As global e-commerce continues to grow rapidly, there is an increasing demand for professionals who understand international market operations and excel in cross-border e-commerce management. Dai Bin called on the government and enterprises to collaborate in improving education and training systems to cultivate more high-quality talent capable of meeting the fast-paced needs of the industry.
During the forum’s announcement segment, 4PX’s "Green Future: 4PX Full-Link Green Logistics Plan" was successfully selected as one of the "2024 Logistics and Supply Chain (China) Solutions TOP 30." This honor not only recognizes 4PX's innovative practices in the logistics sector but also acknowledges its efforts in promoting the development of green logistics. The selected solutions will be included in the "2025 China Logistics Industry Development Trend Report," which will be distributed to the entire industry, further driving the global application of China’s logistics and supply chain solutions and enhancing the international competitiveness of Chinese enterprises.
With the successful conclusion of the 2024 Global Trade and International Logistics Summit Forum, 4PX will continue to uphold the development concepts of innovation, coordination, sustainability, openness, and shared benefits. The company remains committed to actively participating in international logistics and supply chain cooperation and competition, contributing to the high-quality development of China’s logistics industry and offering Chinese wisdom and solutions to global trade and international logistics.
