1. DSV May Sell DB Schenker Warehouses
On December 27, it was reported that DSV plans to take over DB Schenker in the second quarter of next year. With significant overlap in the warehousing facilities of both companies, they plan to merge by 2025, leading to the sale of many existing DB Schenker warehouses. According to Citibank, DSV may sell over 1.6 million square meters of warehouse facilities spread across 150 locations, with a total sales value of 1.8 billion euros.
Bloomberg noted that Citibank raised its target price for DSV stock by 59% in its analysis report. In mid-September, DSV announced its acquisition of DB Schenker for 14.3 billion euros, which is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2025. Recently, it was revealed that DSV has obtained half of the necessary regulatory approvals for the acquisition.
