2. UPS to Make More Fee Changes
On March 11, UPS announced plans to increase surcharges and change fees. The fuel surcharge for UPS Ground, Air, and SurePost services in the U.S. will be raised by 50 basis points. Additionally, more fee changes will take effect on March 31. These include a $5 fee for each printed UPS invoice copy sent to shippers or other payers, a $25 fee for each payment made via check or wire transfer (excluding Automated Clearing House payments), and the late payment fee will increase from 8% to 9.9% of the overdue invoice balance. UPS also plans to end the 2% surcharge on invoices paid by credit card by May 18, replacing it with a 2% payment processing fee for each invoice.

3. TikTok Deal May Be Finalized Soon
On March 11, it was reported that the U.S. government is in talks with four different potential buyers regarding TikTok’s U.S. business, with a deal possibly being finalized "soon." According to earlier reports, TikTok must reach an agreement on its U.S. operations by April 5, or it will be banned from the U.S. under bipartisan legislation. The U.S. is currently TikTok's most important market, and last year, the valuation of TikTok US was as high as $50 billion.

4. FedEx Optimizes Regional International Export Services
On March 11, it was reported that FedEx is optimizing international export services in Suzhou, Kunshan, Taicang, Changshu, Wuxi, Hangzhou, and Jiaxing. This service upgrade includes low- and high-value goods exported from Wuxi, high-value goods exported from Kunshan, Taicang, Changshu, and Hangzhou, and high-value goods exported from Suzhou (excluding Kunshan, Taicang, and Changshu) and Jiaxing. 5. 2025 Amazon Seller Report: FBA Remains Mainstream
On March 11, it was reported that according to Jungle Scout’s “2025 Amazon Seller Status” report, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) remains the most commonly used fulfillment method for sellers and brands, accounting for 44%. Meanwhile, the usage rate of Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) has significantly increased, with over one-third of sellers opting for FBM, nearly 10% of which use the Seller Fulfilled Prime service. 6. TikTok Shop Vietnam to Implement New Commission Fee Schedule
On March 11, it was announced that starting April 1, 2025, TikTok Shop Vietnam will officially implement a new commission fee schedule, which has drawn widespread attention. The commission for regular sellers will increase from 3% to 4%, while the commission for Shop Mall sellers will rise significantly from 4.54%-5.78% to 6.05%-7.7%, with an average increase of 2%. 7. 8 New International Cargo Routes Launched in January-February
On March 11, it was reported that according to the Aviation Logistics Branch of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, 35 new international air cargo routes were launched in the first two months of 2025, with over 73 weekly round-trip flights added. On March 11, it was reported that the COSCO Air Logistics Shandong Logistics Headquarters project in the Air Economy Demonstration Zone officially commenced operations. 10. China's Foreign Trade Reaches 6.54 Trillion Yuan in January-February

11. Li Ka-shing Plans to Sell 43 Ports for $22.8 Billion
On March 11, it was reported that Li Ka-shing's CK Hutchison Holdings Ltd. announced a strategic restructuring on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, revealing a tentative agreement with a consortium led by BlackRock to sell its core global port assets. According to the announcement, CK Hutchison plans to sell all of its stakes in Hutchison Port Holdings (HPHS) and Hutchison Port Group Holdings (HPGHL), which together control 80% of Hutchison Ports' global equity.
