1. February Data of Six Major Listed Airlines Released
On March 20, it was reported that the February operational data of China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Air China, Hainan Airlines, Spring Airlines, and Juneyao Airlines have been released.
In terms of cargo and mail transportation volume:
- China Southern Airlines: 128,000 tons, a 6.4% increase compared to 2024, up 49.9% compared to 2019.
- Air China: 95,000 tons, a 2.9% decrease compared to 2024, up 20.2% compared to 2019.
- China Eastern Airlines: 71,000 tons, a 2.4% decrease compared to 2024, up 27.7% compared to 2019.
- Hainan Airlines: 35,000 tons, a 4.4% increase compared to 2024, up 6.6% compared to 2019.
- Juneyao Airlines: 10,000 tons, a 16.3% increase compared to 2024, up 6.5% compared to 2019.
- Spring Airlines: 6,000 tons, a 0.6% increase compared to 2024, up 3.1% compared to 2019.

2. DHL Launches a New Operations Center
On March 20, it was reported that DHL Express Mexico's Queretaro air hub facility is now operational, doubling the company's capacity at Queretaro International Airport (AIQ) in the Bajío region of Mexico.
The expansion project cost over $120 million, including infrastructure expansion and technological upgrades, making it the most advanced hub for the company in Latin America. The upgraded facility has a processing capacity of 41,000 parcels per hour.
The center spans over 28,300 square meters, including 15,000 square meters of warehouse space, 13,300 square meters of terrace space, 1,200 square meters of office space, 30 airside curtains, and 19 landside curtains.

3. China Post Opens New International Cargo Route
On March 20, it was reported that China Post's "Guangzhou-Clark" international cargo mail route officially opened today. The route is operated by a B737-800F aircraft, initially running once a week on Wednesdays, with plans to increase frequency.
This is Guangzhou Baiyun Airport's first cargo mail route to Clark International Airport in the Philippines, primarily transporting e-commerce goods. The flight takes two hours.
With this addition, China Post now operates four international cargo mail routes to the Philippines, bringing the total number of international routes to 25.

4. SF Logistics REIT to Begin Sales
On March 20, it was reported that Southern Fund announced that the SF Logistics REIT will be available for purchase from March 21 to March 24.
The project sponsor is SF Holding, and Huatai United Securities is serving as the financial advisor. Pricing inquiries were completed on March 17, and based on the results, the fund manager has prudently set the share price at 3.29 yuan per share, with a total of 1 billion shares available for sale.

5. ZTO Releases Full-Year 2024 Financial Results
On March 20, ZTO announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full-year 2024.
The financial report shows that in 2024, ZTO's parcel volume increased by 3.8 billion parcels, reaching a total of 34 billion parcels for the year, a 12.6% year-on-year increase. Adjusted net profit grew by 12.7% to 10.2 billion yuan, and net cash flow from operating activities amounted to 11.429 billion yuan.
In Q4 2024, parcel volume was 9.665 billion, up 11.0% from 8.705 billion in Q4 2023. Adjusted net profit was 2.733 billion yuan, up 23.4% from 2.214 billion yuan in Q4 2023.

6. Huahu Airport Opens 38 International Cargo Routes
On March 20, it was reported that Ezhou Huahu International Airport, Asia's first professional cargo hub, marked its one-year anniversary since being approved for international operations, with a total of 38 international cargo routes opened.
Over the past year, Ezhou Huahu Airport's international cargo routes have covered 42 destinations across Europe, America, Asia, Africa, and Belt and Road countries, connecting 28 countries and regions, creating a global network.
So far, Huahu International Airport has operated 8,795 inbound and outbound cargo flights, with import and export cargo mail volume reaching 338,400 tons, up 5.1 and 4.3 times, respectively.

7. Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines Opens Zhengzhou-Liège Intercontinental Route
On March 20, it was reported that Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines has officially opened the Zhengzhou-Liège cargo route, with a fully loaded freighter taking off from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport bound for Liège, Belgium.
This is the second intercontinental route independently operated by Zhongyuan Longhao Airlines, creating an efficient and convenient air corridor between Henan and Europe.
The route is operated by a B747-400 freighter, with a single-trip cargo capacity of up to 95 tons, mainly transporting high-value cross-border e-commerce goods.

8. Hainan Cargo Launches "Next-Day Delivery" Product
On March 20, it was reported that Hainan Cargo, a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, launched the Shenzhen-Vienna-Warsaw multimodal transport line in cooperation with ground agents Swissport and truck company Wallenborn, offering next-day delivery services.
After departing Shenzhen Airport, the goods are transshipped at Hainan’s Vienna station and can be picked up at Warsaw Airport the next day.

9. Air Cargo Market Maintains Strong Growth
On March 20, it was reported that the air cargo market has maintained strong growth this year, achieving “non-seasonal” growth during the traditionally slow period around the Spring Festival.
From January to February, the entire civil aviation industry handled 1.426 million tons of cargo and mail. The domestic cargo market remained stable, with 851,000 tons of cargo and mail transported, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%. Excluding the leap year factor, the daily cargo and mail transportation volume increased by 6.7% year-on-year.
The international cargo market saw a faster recovery, handling 575,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 17.9%, up 3.3 percentage points from December 2024.

10. Cross-border E-commerce Retail Export Returns Model Launched in Hangzhou
On March 20, it was reported that a batch of cross-border e-commerce parcels returned to China arrived at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. The returned parcels completed customs clearance procedures at the airport's east cargo terminal and the Hangzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and were returned to domestic sellers.
This marks the first cross-border e-commerce retail export return transaction handled by Hangzhou Customs. With this successful model in place, Hangzhou has become the only city in China that has carried out cross-border e-commerce retail import, retail export, and cross-boundary district return operations.

11. Global Logistics Market Expected to Reach $20.1 Trillion by 2033
On March 20, it was reported that Allied Market Research released a report predicting that the global logistics market, valued at $10.2 trillion in 2023, is expected to reach $20.1 trillion by 2033, with a compound annual growth rate of 7.3% from 2024 to 2033.

12. Singapore Post Expands E-commerce Processing Capacity
On March 20, it was reported that Singapore Post announced an investment of 30 million Singapore dollars to expand the e-commerce processing capacity of its regional eCommerce logistics center (eComm LogHub).
The investment will be used to install new sorting equipment at the facility, increasing the number of small parcels processed daily from 100,000 to 300,000. The new equipment is designed with a compact footprint, leaving more floor space for additional future equipment installations.
