2. Air China Cargo’s Main Board IPO Approved

3. JD.com's Same-day Delivery to Launch in Europe

12. COSCO Shipping's Strong Revenue and Cargo Volume Growth in First Three Quarters
On November 5, COSCO Shipping reported strong revenue and cargo volume growth for the first three quarters of 2024. Its container shipping business generated RMB 168.84 billion ($23.7 billion), up 30.57% year-on-year, with a 9.07% increase in cargo volume over the same period. Its terminal business achieved a total throughput of 107.27 million TEUs, up 7.08%, while terminal business revenue reached RMB 7.94 billion, up 6.49%.
Notably, cargo volumes for photovoltaics, lithium batteries, automobiles, and cross-border e-commerce increased by 31%, 20%, 17%, and 60%, respectively. By the end of Q3, COSCO operated 436 shipping routes with a capacity of 3.28 million TEUs, managing 371 berths at 39 ports worldwide, and ran 589 sea-rail combined routes for domestic and foreign trade.
