1. DHL Lowers Full-Year and Mid-Term Growth Forecast
On November 6, DHL Group, the international logistics giant, released its Q3 2024 financial results. The report showed a net profit of €751 million ($818 million), down 6.9% year-on-year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) reached €1.37 billion, up 0.1%. Despite ongoing weak market dynamics, Q3 revenue grew by 6.2% to €20.6 billion.
DHL's management decided to lower the group's full-year EBIT forecast from the previous range of €6.0 billion to €6.6 billion, down to above €5.8 billion. The mid-term EBIT growth forecast has also been revised from the previous €7.5 billion to €8.5 billion, down to more than €7.0 billion by 2026. DHL's CFO, Melanie Kreis, said the company is in a growth phase, particularly in the global freight forwarding business, which requires more working capital, thus affecting cash flow.

2. JD.com Expands Parcel Delivery Service to 13 More Countries in the Americas and Oceania

4. Stonepeak to Acquire ATSG for $3.1 Billion

8. China Added 18 New International Cargo Routes in October
On November 6, it was reported that China continued to add new international cargo routes in October, with Europe and Asia accounting for the most new routes. 11. Nanning Airport Creates a "Four-Hour Air Logistics Circle" to ASEAN

12. Maersk to Implement PSS from Far East to Australia and Others
