On January 17, Jiayou International (603871) announced that the company had returned 320 million yuan of raised funds, which were temporarily used to supplement working capital, back to the dedicated account for raised funds. This amount was initially approved at a board meeting on February 6, 2024, with a cap of 340 million yuan and a 12-month term. The announcement mentioned that the sponsoring institution, Haitong Securities Co., Ltd., approved the matter. The return of the funds was completed on January 15, 2025, and the sponsoring institution was notified. In the first three quarters of 2024, Jiayou International achieved revenue of 6.544 billion yuan and a net profit attributable to shareholders of 1.089 billion yuan.

3. Three Major Airlines Announce December Data
On January 17, Pan Yixin, Executive Vice President of the China Air Transport Association, reported that airlines achieved a combined profit of 4.47 billion yuan in 2024, a year-on-year improvement of 10.2 billion yuan. Air China's December cargo capacity increased by 19.1% year-on-year and 4.3% month-on-month, and by 22.93% compared to 2019. Cargo and mail turnover rose by 17.6% year-on-year and 5.44% compared to 2019. China Eastern's December cargo capacity grew by 4.79% year-on-year and 10.53% month-on-month, with cargo and mail turnover rising by 17.45% year-on-year and 6.59% month-on-month, up 11.68% compared to 2019. China Southern's cargo capacity fell by 8.62% year-on-year but increased by 4.24% compared to 2019. Its cargo and mail turnover dropped by 2.05% year-on-year but rose by 19.56% compared to 2019.

On January 17, Hainan Airlines' cargo capacity in December increased by 15.34% year-on-year and 14.29% month-on-month, with cargo and mail turnover up by 59.75% year-on-year and 18.38% month-on-month, 15.85% higher than in 2019. Spring Airlines’ cargo capacity grew by 17.94% year-on-year and 6.53% month-on-month, a 37.97% rise compared to 2019. Its cargo and mail turnover increased by 25.37% year-on-year and 10.34% month-on-month, a 37.47% rise compared to 2019. Juneyao Airlines and 9 Air’s cargo capacity in December rose by 24.86% year-on-year and 19.16% month-on-month, up 52.39% compared to 2019. Cargo and mail turnover soared by 81.48% year-on-year and 20.48% month-on-month, a 104.72% increase compared to 2019.

5. China Southern Launches Urumqi–Tashkent Cargo Route
On January 17, a cargo flight fully loaded with goods departed from Urumqi Diwopu International Airport at 16:05 on January 13, arriving in Tashkent, Uzbekistan after a three-hour flight. This marks the inaugural flight of the Urumqi–Tashkent international cargo route operated by China Southern Airlines Logistics Xinjiang branch. The cargo route primarily serves cross-border e-commerce express deliveries, garment exports, and the import of specialty products such as Uzbek wine and bay leaves.

7. Ezhou Huahu Airport Exceeds 5,000 Tons of Cargo and Mail in a Single Day
On January 17, it was announced that Ezhou Huahu International Airport handled over 5,000 tons of cargo and mail on January 14, reaching a record-breaking 5,274 tons since the airport opened on July 17, 2022. 8. Etihad Cargo Operates Over 300 Ezhou–Abu Dhabi Flights
On January 17, it was reported that Etihad Cargo had operated 329 flights from Ezhou Huahu Airport to Abu Dhabi, facilitating the export of over 18,700 tons of cargo. In cooperation with SF Airlines, the carrier operates seven weekly flights from Ezhou to Abu Dhabi. Etihad Cargo’s Ezhou operations are part of its Greater China network, which will expand to 23 freighter flights and 26 passenger flights weekly by 2025. 9. Amazon Updates FBA Logistics Compensation Policy
On January 17, Amazon announced updates to its FBA logistics compensation policy, adjusting the eligibility period for claims. Sellers must now submit manual claims within specific timeframes: for items lost or damaged in fulfillment centers, claims must be filed within 60 days of reporting the loss or damage; FBA customer return claims can be filed between 45 and 105 days after a refund or replacement, ensuring enough time for the customer to return the item to Amazon; removal claims for lost items in transit must be filed between 15 and 75 days after the shipment date, ensuring items have enough time to be returned to the seller; all other removal claims must be filed within 60 days of the item being returned to the seller.

11. OZON Announces Major New Policy

12. Boeing Delivers 348 Aircraft in 2024
