1.SF Holding's December 2024 Revenue Reaches 26.4 Billion Yuan

 

On January 20, SF Holding announced its operating data for December 2024, with monthly revenue reaching 26.437 billion yuan. The express logistics business revenue totaled 19.636 billion yuan, an 8.64% year-on-year increase, with a business volume of 1.35 billion shipments, up 19.47%. The revenue per shipment was 14.55 yuan. The supply chain and international business also saw steady growth, with revenue reaching 6.801 billion yuan, a 24.63% year-on-year increase.

2.A Logistics Company Plans Overseas Listing

 

On January 20, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued a supplemental filing requirement for overseas issuance and listing (January 10–16, 2025). It requested Dora Logistics (secret transition to public) to provide additional information on new shareholders within 12 months, including the time of acquisition, entry price, and pricing basis. The document also asked whether Lulu Logistics is engaged in road freight transport (including network freight) and related activities. Dora is a Chinese smart logistics platform integrating shippers and drivers based on BeiDou satellite data.

3. TikTok Ban Unanimously Approved

 

On January 20, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously supported and passed the "ban if not sold" bill on TikTok. The White House responded by stating that no enforcement action would be taken on Sunday, January 19, the effective date of the law. Former President Donald Trump said on Truth Social: "The Supreme Court's ruling was expected, and everyone must respect it. I will make a decision about TikTok soon." TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew responded in a video statement, thanking Trump for committing to finding a solution that allows TikTok to continue operating in the U.S., citing the First Amendment and opposing arbitrary censorship.

4. Six Major Listed Airlines Announce 2024 Operational Data

 

On January 20, several A-share listed airport companies and airlines released their 2024 operational data. China Southern Airlines reported cargo and mail transport volume of 1.834 million tons, a 15.7% year-on-year increase and a 4% increase compared to 2019. Air China's volume reached 1.48 million tons, up 35.9% year-on-year, a 3.2% rise since 2019. China Eastern Airlines transported 1.051 million tons, up 24.8% year-on-year and 7.6% compared to 2019. Hainan Airlines transported 500,000 tons, up 36.1% year-on-year. Juneyao Airlines carried 138,000 tons, a 29.4% year-on-year increase and a 12.4% rise since 2019. Spring Airlines transported 8.6 tons, up 24.6% year-on-year and 32.6% since 2019.

5. Six Major Listed Airports Set New Records in 2024

 

On January 20, six major domestic listed airports released their 2024 annual performance data. With the normalization of China's air cargo industry and strong demand from cross-border e-commerce, overall cargo and mail throughput showed stable improvement. Shanghai Airport handled 4.2 million tons of cargo and mail in 2024, up 11% year-on-year, with Pudong Airport contributing 3.77 million tons (up 9.6%). International cargo throughput increased by 17.5% to 3.02 million tons. Hongqiao Airport handled 430,000 tons, an 18.4% increase year-on-year and a 1.5% rise since 2019.

 

Baiyun Airport handled 2.383 million tons, up 17.3% year-on-year and 23.9% higher than in 2019. Capital Airport processed 1.443 million tons, up 29.3% year-on-year. Shenzhen Airport’s throughput reached 1.881 million tons, up 17.5% year-on-year and 46.6% compared to 2019. Hainan Airport handled 313,000 tons, with year-on-year increases of 2.6%, 4.8%, and 15.3%. Xiamen Airport processed 376,000 tons, up 19.5% year-on-year and 13.6% since 2019.

6. China Post Group Achieves Revenue of 702.584 Billion Yuan in 2024

 

On January 20, China Post Group held its 2025 work conference and first session of the sixth employee representatives' conference in Beijing. The meeting reviewed achievements and set 2025 priorities. In 2024, China Post Group achieved revenue of 702.584 billion yuan, a 1.53% increase, with a profit of 86.523 billion yuan. Parcel delivery saw significant growth, with a volume of 18 billion items, up 18.9%. Express service revenue increased by 12.3%, logistics revenue exceeded 10 billion yuan, and rural parcel delivery volume reached 4.86 billion items, up 77%.

7. Shanghai’s 2024 Warehouse Logistics Market Hits Record Supply Peak

 

On January 20, CBRE released its "Real Estate Market Review and 2025 Outlook" report. In 2024, Shanghai’s warehouse logistics market saw a historic supply peak, with seven new projects totaling 1.355 million square meters. Third-party logistics and manufacturing led new leases, accounting for 61% and 31% respectively. New leases from supply chain logistics represented 34% of the total. Guangzhou added 237,000 square meters, down 77.9% year-on-year, with cross-border e-commerce demand declining. Foshan saw 665,000 square meters of new supply in 2024, and cross-border e-commerce remained active, with large-scale leases throughout the year.

12. China's Total Foreign Trade in 2024 Reaches 43.8468 Trillion Yuan

 

On January 20, the National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that China's total foreign trade in 2024 reached 43.8468 trillion yuan, a 5% year-on-year increase. Exports totaled 25.4545 trillion yuan, up 7.1%, while imports reached 18.3923 trillion yuan, up 2.3%. Trade with Belt and Road countries increased by 6.4%, accounting for 50.3% of total trade. Exports of mechanical and electrical products grew by 8.7%, representing 59.4% of total exports. In December, total foreign trade reached 4.067 trillion yuan, up 6.8% year-on-year, with exports growing by 10.9% and imports by 1.3%.
